This year, A Way Out have been given the amazing opportunity from Teesside Park to host an event which will support our local charity.
On Saturday the 19th of November our Fundraising Coordinator Donna Walker, alongside our fantastic volunteers from Darlington Building Society in Stockton, will be at Teesside Park from 11am till 6pm.
There will be a Christmas mini makers market, which will be held in the Hub area at Teesside Park. There will be a preloved Christmas Jumper rail, where you will be able to purchase good quality second hand Christmas jumpers for minimal cost.
We will also have a giving tree where people can take a label and purchase items which will support our clients over the Christmas period. There will be a range of prices from toiletries and food items to gifts so people can choose how much they would like to give. There will also be an opportunity to donate the items then and there.
We will have a choir singing Christmas carols and festive tunes to get everyone in the spirit, alongside Star Wars characters to greet guests and take photos.
We are all so excited for this fantastic opportunity and would love for as many people as possible to go down and support this event.
Donna was able to share this exciting opportunity with BBC Radio Tees. If you would like to hear more about the event, please listen to link below:
