Women’s Project Team Leader (temporary Maternity Cover) 37.5 hours/week, £22,000-£24,000 (depending upon experience)
We are seeking to recruit temporary maternity cover for the role of Women’s Project Team Leader to coordinate the Women’s Project (Liberty) and lead the Women’s Project team along with managing a small caseload.
A Way Out’s women’s project, Liberty, consists of an outreach and a recovery program, aiming to engage women aged18+, with various needs. The projects prime focus is on tackling and addressing sexual exploitation/prostitution and the wide range of associated issues i.e. substance misuse, homelessness etc. It aims to provide clear pathways and improve access to key services such as sexual health for women involved in sex work both on and proposed off street.
The project includes evening and late night outreach, low threshold drop-ins, group work and one to one support, intending to enhance the lifestyles of women, whilst widening their long-term aspirations. Young Women’s Project (Blossom) Worker, Full time (37.5 hrs pw), £18,777.50
We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Young Women’s Project Worker, to support the delivery of the Blossom Project outreach, in-reach and recovery program, to meet and build relationships with vulnerable young women and hold a caseload of those young women offering practical and emotional support to encourage and motivate change.
With Big Lottery funding, A Way Out has developed an outreach and engagement service, targeted to support young women aged 16-24 years living in Stockton-on-Tees who are at significant risk of poor outcomes due to a range of vulnerabilities and complex needs.
The project, delivered within a multi-agency framework, includes outreach, hostel in-reach and low threshold drop-ins, group work and one to one support, intending to enhance the lifestyles of young women, whilst raising their long-term aspirations.
