The Cave - Outreach Cafe

"A place of safety and refuge where at-risk and vulnerable young people and young women can come and just be."

This is the vision behind our newest venture "The Cave". We have a very urban, large space at the back of our centre that we have named The Cave. Within the Cave we are seeking to run a daily cafe for at-risk women and young people.

There is desperate need in Stockton for the vulnerable, at-risk and broken to have a place of safety. Somewhere they can come to hang out and be accepted, loved and cared about.

We really feel that in order for this place to exist, we need the community and the church to come together to make it happen.

The cafe will be run by a mixture of cafe staff and support workers. The majority of those will be volunteers. We are so excited about this new venture and we hope and pray that many others will come and be a part of what we are doing.

We are also looking for a part time manager to run the cafe - you must be passionate for working with vulenerable people and have a business mind.
