Saving (Interventions)

We work with those most at risk to empower them to find a way out of often life controlling situations.

We work with a number of women and young people who are extremely vulnerable.  Often women and young people will find themselves accessing A Way Out when they have nowhere left to turn.  We seek to work with women and young people who are trapped in life controlling situations, supporting them to find a way out.  Often the transforming work which we deliver can literally save lives.

Our service users include:

  • Women and young people with substance misuse problems
  • Women and young people trapped in prostitution
  • Women and young people who are homeless and maybe living on the streets
  • Women and young people at risk or involved in offending
  • Victims of domestic abuse

Our objective is to educate and empower women and young people to live safe, healthy and whole lives.  Our interventions work seeks to achieve this through working with those most in need, assessing their needs and working in partnership with a range of agencies to provide counselling, befriending, support and co-ordinated care pathways that include treatment, housing, employment, education and training.
