We couldn't provide our vital services without the people who support us.

We have been joined by 100's of people who have given up their time, money and energy to help a way out make a difference in the lives of women and young people, this has been form major celebrities to small church groups

Sign up for events, volunteer your time, join our fundraising committee, or run your own fundraising activities.

Or, help spread the word about the support we offer.

Below are a few events and activities that we have already planned but you may think of others like running the london marathon or organising a tea party.

Abseil off the transporter Bridge

Check out the View for the Tees!!!! Abseiling from the Transporter Bridge is a great way to perhaps combat your fear or heights or even just to do something a bit different whilst raising a some cash for A WAY OUT.

All you have to is take that step over the edge and genteelly lower yourself to the ground after you will feel a great sense of achievement and an adrenaline rush.

Before you abseil, we will ensure that you are fully trained by experienced staff, whose prime concern at all times will be your safety.

Bungee Jumping

Want a day you'll never forget? Then why not try bungee jumping? This is an experience that will give you the ultimate adrenaline rush! Experience the free-fall, and bungee off the 170ft Middlesborough Transporter Bridge.

Skydive

For many people, skydiving is the perfect chance to face your fears and take a challenge of a lifetime. Take the leap and skydive at 120 mph, before calmly coming back down to earth safe and sound.

Once you have registered for one of the skydiving events you can set up your very own A WAY OUT branded fundraising webpage on justgiving/awayout where you can share your stories and photos.

17th September 2009- Wynyard Charity Golf Championship

A WAY OUT are holding their first of many Charity Golf Championship, golfers are invited to take part in an exclusive day at the prestigious Wynyard Golf Club.

Cost for a team of four is £330 which includes arrival refreshments and a Gala Dinner.

2nd October - Annual Gala Ball - Wynyard Hall

This is one of the Tees Valleys most prestigious annual charity events with tickets expected to sell out early. Wynyard Hall is one of the regions finest houses, following its multi- million pound renovations and refurbishment the hall has been brought back to its former splendor by its current owners. Lately a number of bedrooms have been refurbished to make this one of the most sought after venues within the UK.

160 guest will attend this black tie event and enjoy an amazing evening of the finest food & entertainment that the Tees Valley has to offer. Guests will be greeted with pre dinner drinks & musical reception followed by a four course banquet. Then soak up the best live entertainment with special guest performances and dancing in luxurious surroundings until the early hours.
