Fundraising Events

We've got loads of exciting events coming up! We'll be keeping this page updated with information on everything from live music nights to fashion shows, golfing days to Tough Guy races. There really is something for everyone.

These are just our ideas but you may think of others yourself like running a marathon or organising a tea party. If so we'd love to hear from you! Just email us at fundraiser@awayout.co.uk or drop us a line at the office.

Bag Packs!

We have got two dates booked for Bag packs in June, one at Asda in Thornaby and one at Morrisons in Teesside Park, both Stockton-on-Tees. We went as a team of staff and volunteers in December to pack bags and everyone had a really good time! This is a great way to make a big difference to lives in Stockton.

When: 6th June (Morrisons), 23rd June (Asda)

What time: 9am until

Bungee Jump off the Transporter Bridge!

If you missed the opportunity to bungee jump off the Transporter Bridge in February then this is your chance to do it! Just the same as before, we just ask that you raise a minimum amount in sponsorship to participate for free.

When: Sunday 15th July

Where: Transporter Bridge, Middlesbrough

What time: 1pm

How much: £100 minimum sponsorship (you'll be amazed how easy this is to get!) 

 

 

Total Warrior in the Lake District

Last year, four people took part in the gruelling Total Warrior challenge in the Lake District and had an amazing time! This year we are returning and we'd love to take more crazy thrill-seekers! Booking forms and sponsor forms are on the right.

When: Saturday 4th August

Where: Shap Abbey, Lake District

How much: Minimum sponsorship of £100. Deposits to secure your place are cheaper the earlier you book. Download the booking form for more details.

Stockton River Rat Race

We are entering a MAD (Making A Difference) team into this years' Stockton River Rat Race. This event involves swimming, running and obstacles in and around the Tees in central Stockton and it's open to all abilities. And it's right on our doorstep! We can watch you from our office windows.

When: Sunday 26th August

Where: The Tees, Stockton

How much? £30 refundable deposit
