Jane Harmer, Chief Executive Officer at A Way Out since 2014, will be moving on from the organisation at the beginning of January following her resignation in October. Jane has been with A Way Out since April 2014, initially as Services Director and then as Chief Executive. Jane worked tirelessly for the organisation and was extremely committed to our essential work with vulnerable women and young people. Sarah McManus, the current Services Manager has been appointed as Interim Chief Executive for an initial period of six months. Sarah brings continuity and an in-depth knowledge of the organisation and its vital services to this crucial role. Trustees are delighted to welcome her as the interim Chief Executive for A Way Out. Sarah has worked as an operational manager in social housing for over 25 years and brings with her added value from her time served as a Board member for a local housing association. Sarah, along with the rest of the staff at A Way Out, are committed to and are looking forward to working closely in 2017 with our valued partners to effectively and efficiently improve the outcomes of the vulnerable women and young people with whom we work.We wish you all the very best for a prosperous 2017.
