Anita Burke, General Manager had the opportunity to nominate one of our amazing volunteers for The Grand Central Heart of the Community Awards 2015. Anita nominated Steve Pratt.
Steve is a regular volunteer at A Way Out and helps in so many ways. On a weekly basis he packs over 40 food parcels, which are given out in our weekly drop in for vulnerable women. He also does any repairs or work on the building and so much more.
In her nomination, Anita said: "Whenever Steve is asked to assist, in whatever way, he does so with a smile and willingness that is unmatched. His commitment to A Way Out is genuine, extremely valuable and highly appreciated by our staff and our beneficiaries. It would be wonderful to be able to see him rewarded for this."

Well done to our dedicated volunteer Steve, runner up in the Grand Central 2015 Heart of the Community Award. You are an inspiration!
