A Way Out at Spring Harvest

This week, members of the A Way Out team are at Spring Harvest in Skegness! They are there for a week staying at Butlins, raising awareness for all we do.

Spring Harvest is an large gathering of Christians of all ages, and meets in two different locations; Minehead and Skegness. Thousands of people meet to have a holiday together, whilst studying the bible, attending meetings, entertainment evenings, worship celebrations, debates, sport and workshops. It's a packed week!

This year, A Way Out is one of Spring Harvest's supported charities, along with two other charities.

This means that a proportion of giving from Spring Harvest will go directly towards bringing love, hope and freedom to those who need it most in Stockton-on-Tees, and most of the people attending the conference will get a chance to hear about who we are and the life-changing work we do.
Here's a glimpse of the evening celebration at Spring Harvest:
spring-harvest-2013 Lindsay, Sarah-Jane and CEO Jessie took a road trip early on Tuesday morning down to 'Skeggy' armed with information flyers, leaflets, hoodies, t-shirts, stickers and wrist bands to help spread the message of LOVE HOPE FREEDOM at Spring Harvest. awayout-gear You can either buy the t-shirts, bands, or homemade items and profits will go directly to A Way Out, or if you choose to sign up to £10 a month, you get a hoodie with it! If you choose to sign up to £1 a week to support A Way Out, you get a free t-shirt. Bargain. And wearing a lovehopefreedom t-shirt helps raise awareness for us too.

new-supporter It's been a great opportunity for our team to get to know other organisations and influential people, and build connections, as well as raise awareness from the general public.  Jessie will be speaking at Spring Harvest throughout the week, and one night in the Big Top, the main gathering celebration.
